McCanna Anthony Sinise, a talented musician and the son of a well-known actor, passed away on January 5th at the age of 33 after a long battle with a rare form of cancer. McCanna, also known as Mac, began his musical journey at a young age and was a skilled drummer, pianist, and harmonica player. He continued to pursue his passion for music after being diagnosed with cancer, collaborating with other musicians and recording original compositions.
Despite his illness, Mac was determined to complete his album, “Resurrection and Revival,” which features the Lt. Dan Band, including his father. He expressed his wish for the album’s proceeds to be donated to a charitable foundation.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Mac was also involved in the Gary Sinise Foundation, where he worked as an assistant manager before stepping away due to his health.
